Question for any Rescuers out there?

This is an email message I got from Simone Seymour a member of our site. I thought I would post here because I know there are more Rescuers on this site that have not joined the actual group on here Rescue Groups/Fosters/Volunteers. So I thought I would try to help her out by asking site wide to see if someone could help her out with an answer.

I live in Ohio and have already 2 Pit bulls that are rescued and want to continue to do so and someone told me i need to get some paper work started so what do i need and what do i not need?I want to keep dogs from the shelter and most of the time they only let rescues in...And do i really need to set up a Web Site to and what does something like that cost?
