WHY DID THIS HAD TO HAPPEN??THIS ISMY BROTHER AND SISTER INLAWS PET..

MY BROTHER SHANE AND HIS WIFE AND KIDS HAD A LITTLE BOSTON TERRIER NAMED GEORGIA. WHILE THEY WERE GONE ANGELS EX HUSBAND BROKE INTO THEIR HOUSE AND TORTURED AND KILLED GEORGIA. SHE SUFFERED A LONG AND PAINFUL DEATH. HERE IS WHAT MY SISTER INLAW ANGEL WROTE

had a visit from the investigator who came to check for evidence. We found the stick from our house and Georgia's hair was embedded into it, and there were muddy foot prints on our porch that had to be left from who ever did this because of the rain the night before had washed away any of ours (plus they didn't match any of our shoes). He thinks that the person ( I use this term lightly, to not jeperdize the case) got into our house by checking all three doors (there were foot prints on all three porches) and then entered thru one of the back doors that wasn't fully locked (something that will be fully checked from now on) Georgia, being the little guard dog that she was, began to bark. When the person didn't leave she snapped at their leg and grabbed on (we've seen her do this before).This either made them mad or scared them (most likely both) and they grabbed the stick and began to try to get her off by repeatedly hitting her on the back. She held fast (that's my girl, she gave him hell to the end, hoorah!). Once they were back out that door he hit her one final time hard and broke her spine and busted her lung and diaphram (the vet said these were all done with the same, one, downward blow to her back by a blunt object). She was instantly paralized just below her front paws and could not move anymore. She lay were he left her, on our back porch, in the cold, in pain, waiting for us to get home to help. She died just after we found her. The vet said there was nothing we could have done to help her, the internal injuries were too bad to fix. The cops are going to question our only suspect on some other charges filed against him by another person (don't know who) and see if he has any shoes to match the print or if there are any bites or other marks on him (I hope she tore his nuts off) where she attacked him. They think that if she only got his pants leg that he would have thrown those away but they are going to check and they said that trash is public property once it's outside the house. If they find them then they are going to check for hair, spit, blood, and mud. They are being very helpful in trying to bring this monster to justice. I want to think every one for the prayers and condolences for our family. The police are treating this just like a child being hurt and that is exactly how I feel about it. She was my baby and my hero. I don't know anyone who would do for me and my family what she did for us (except my wonderful husband). She gave her life in the line of duty to protect and serve our family.

OMG that is horrible! I can't understand why humans hurt animals but i guess it take a crazy not caring no heart lowlife obviously doesn't think very highly of himself because people who do have values and stand true tpo them would not feel the need to commit such a vicous and useless violent crime to something way smaller than him.

You need to start a petition on Care2.com and spread it around so you can send it to the judge in hopes for the maximum penalty! Hopefully years and years in jail.

None the less...I hope he gets back EXACTLY what he did to that poor baby!

What an awful story..I just signed up today and saw your post. Im so sorry for your loss. Has this gone to court? Did you get a petition started?? The only reason I ask is because I am going through the same situation (as I started the petition) for Justice4Gage and will be more than happy to help you if you need it. If you haven't gone to court yet, having a signed petition has helped in so many situations that I have been involved with.

I THINK THEY DID A PETITION THIS HAPPEN IN FEB OR MARCH I THIK I REMEMBER SIGNING IT, I HAVE SIGNED SO MANY, IT WAS MY BROTHERS WIFE EX HUSBAND WHO DID THIS AND HE IS IN PRISION ALONG WITH OTHER 21 DIFFRENT CHARGES BUT I THINK SHE SAID THEY ARE CHARGING HIM WITH FELONY ANIMAL CRUELTY

.Awwwww...That's terrible.Poor baby.That just breaks my heart to hear that.What kind of a person does that to an innocent animal...grrrrr!!! Pay Back's a you know what~What an a-hole.Sorry but that's awful for that dog to be now dead over an idiot. :(

First off, I wish to say how sorry I am that this happened. Second, I want to ask, what happened? Did they get the f*@$er? I hope she has or had her day in court to avenge her death! I would kill anyone who dared to even touch my animals....I would go insane if I found any of them hurt in this manner. I definately know that I would not have waited for the police; I would have grabbed my gun and taken matters into my own hands!!! I guarantee that the person would suffer 100 times more than my animals did at their hands!!!!!

One thing is for certain, karma will catch up to the one whom did this and justice will cosmically be served!

I have a Boston myself and was thinking of him when I read this which made it even harder to read. What a brave girl they had. I hope this monster is brought to justice. Please keep us posted. I could not even imagine what they must be going thru. What a tradgic end to what appears to have been a wonderful life. All my thoughts and prayers are w/ them.
