Foreclosures & Evicted Homes Need 24 Hour Inspection
We have seen an enormous amount of bulletins (My Space) lately on people leaving their pets behind in foreclosured homes. I was also informed of an incident in Jersey~ they found dozens of animals dead in a abandoned house. Dogs, cats, hamsters and turtles. Apparently these peoples house went under foreclosure and they left and just abandoned all their animals.
I realize this is the animal owners responsibility to keep their pets safe & healthy ALWAYS. What I don’t understand is why no one, i.e. the sheriff or the lean holders are not inspecting these homes to make sure that the occupant has indeed vacated the house. People are leaving animals locked in closets, basements & crates. These suffering animals don’t have a chance. I am so sick about the abuse, neglect, abandonment & MURDER with these suffering animals.
These forclosured homes need to be inspected throughly within 24 hours inside & out; If anything for this (Animal Left Behind) reason.
I personally would volunteer my services to inspect the foreclosures in my area if the banks or police are to busy to handle this. I feel we as advocates & voices of these (Animals Left Behind) , we challenge the bylaws on these evicters.
Any advise on this issue is invited.
Thank You,
MeSheLL
