Why not just ban any dog larger than 50 lbs. This list is bull.... It infuriates me that people are so ignorant to not understand a breed. I have seen small dogs bite people more than any .dog and that has nothing to do with any breed. I admittingly do not personally know alot of the breeds listed above... but Great Danes? They are such gentle giants and I would love to have one. I know many various mastiff that are absolutely wonderful dogs. Why can't government still to the true issues that face all Americans? Those issues certainly don't include dogs. They include economics, taxes, family values, corrupt politicans. I think I'm going on a mission to start compiling a list of local newspapers and starting to right Letters to the Editors. Sorry.... this just gets my goat!

Yea I hear you. It's a bandaid is all it is and that don't work either. The countys and legislatures think oh we just take the easy way out. Dogs can't talk and put up much of a fight so they figure oh easier to get rid of the dogs than have to deal with going to court yada yada. Thats how I see it anyway. I 110% agree with you on being bit by small dogs. I am a groomer so now think about this. Dog comes in for grooming,stressful situation correct? Then why have I never been biten by a big dog LOL just all the poodles and Chihhuahua min pins shihtzu lhasa cockers~LOL I think everybody gets my point there.
