HSUS Stand on BSL and Dangerous Dogs

Statements from the HSUS on their stand on BSL and Dangerous Dogs (what they want us to know)and then some other info. HSUS is good for some things but not all:(

This quoted from a friend of mine NLK who i know has been fighting the fight for the dogs Against BSL. I see her points here and it makes sense. Another odd thing I want to mention is as I was researching HSUS it turns out I had an account with HSUS but forgot password so reset it. How come I have been all of a sudden getting all of this e-mail from PETA~Seems kinda odd to me. Hmmmm~LOL The basic message is that HSUS has aligned itself with PETA and they have joined hands. They don't want to advertise that. . but if they are working with them in so many things you can bet your wallet they are working with them for BSL too. HSUS as a group their policy is to be "against" bsl because that's a more popular position. However, their leader right now, John Goodwin is a former Animal Liberation Front member and regulary defend their actions and those of peta. see, the HSUS is using a back door strategy to eradicating pit bulls. they are targeting breeders who do not fight their dogs and getting them arrested for "breeding dogs for fighting purposes." This charge means they dont have to fight. but the HSUS claims that they breed the dogs and purposely sell to fighters because no one else would buy one.
now, this is a problem for many reasons. 1. it targets innocent people. getting them arrested and their dogs killed. it takes thousands, even millions to defend themselves and often they plea just because they cant fight it.

2. it gives the public another "Dog fighter" to check off mentally on the tally of "good owners" vs "bad owners." this helps the argument that only dog fighter breed and own pit bulls.

3. also they support breed specific spay/neuter. at least indirectly. . . peta has received money from the HSUS.

Their statement might be that they don't support it. . .however their actions speak louder than their words. and if they want to sue me they can go ahead but i am not afraid. i know what they stand for and will stand by it.

ooh- and how i know they support terrorist activities is they are on the watch list for the FBI for supporting domestic terrorism (aka peta, alf etc. . )

....just keep this in mind. any animal extremist group is not good for pet owners. they want to restrict your rights in many ways. HSUS is one of these. furthermore, they don't run shelters or even give money to them. their money goes to law making, "dog fighting busts" and a bunch of other activist activities.
