At 8:32pm on April 20, 2008, Amy I said…: Hi. Mick thanks you for your comment. Rockey is quite the handsome boy himself. Mick is not an ordinary dog. He was abused in California and was extremely animal aggressive. He came to be with us in NJ quite by accident and the only reason we have him is because no one else would want him. Rescue group and shelters would not be able to take him as he totally flips when he sees another animal. He's gotten a bit better with wild life. At least now when I walk him he doesn't try to attack the insects, squirrels, deers, etc. but he still reacts very strongly to dogs. He has a good life with us. He has his own apartment (this is like a mother/daughter house) so he doesn't have to be subjected to my other 4 dogs. He does travel with us to Vermont though. We just have to take 2 different cars. He's really a good boy that has so much love to give that it's a shame the previous owner in California either forgot about him or threw firecrackers at him. He would have been extraordinary had he a good beginning to life. Just goes to show how cruel people can be to animals. Hugs to Rockey!
